CSA Network UK Open Days - September & October 2019


Our CSA Network UK Farm Open Day is an opportunity for Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) schemes across the country to open their doors to the general public and raise awareness about what CSA is all about. Here are some of the events taking place this year:

Bosavern Community Farm

Harvest Celebration

Date: Sunday 29th September, 12-3:30pm

Address: Bosavern Community Farm, nr St Just, TR19 7RD

Details: Vegetarian food, teas, coffee and cakes; children’s crafts and games; farm tours and nature trail; meet the chickens and egg collecting; meet the Bosavern bees; demonstrations on woodworking, rag rug making and embroidered bees; singing workshop; and market stalls (handmade crafts and food).

Five Acre Community Farm

Open Day

Date: Saturday 12 October

Address: Garden Organic on Wolston Lane, between the A45 and Wolston village, for detailed directions visit here.

Details: Farm tour at 12 noon followed by soup made from farm fresh veg.


Northop Open Day

Date: Saturday 28 September, 10am-4pm

Address: On the grounds of Colege Cambria, Follow the signs from the layby on the Flint side of the Northop A55/A5119 intersection.

Details: Find out how you can become a member of Flintshare, your local community allotment, and help produce organically grown fruit and vegetables. Have you wanted to have an allotment but can’t give it 100% of your time? Find out how this shared venture operates, and work alongside some really friendly people.

Futurefarms – Martin Ltd

Open Day

Date: Saturday 28th September 1:30-4:30pm

Address: Martin Drove End, near Martin, Fordingbridge, SP6 3JT.  Directions: From Martin, head in a northwesterly direction. The farm is shortly before the crossroads with the A354 on the left hand side

Details: Cream teas in the village hall. Farm tours – meet the pigs and piglets, feed the chickens and see the vegetables growing. Pick your own raspberries. Produce for sale and cream teas in the village hall. Everybody welcome. Free entry
