Our Autumn Equinox newsletter
Date Published: 27th October 2026
Dear friends and supporters,
Happy Autumn Equinox. As the days grow shorter we hope life in the field, tunnel or wherever you spend your time is starting to slow down somewhat.
Since our last update in the Summer our team has attended Groundswell where we were part of the Agroecology Tent and hosted the Defra Secretary of State. We also represented CSA at the Organic Growers Gathering a few weeks ago, where we gave two talks, one as part of the UK Fruit and Veg Coalition on the UK Horticultural Sector Plan and another on how to engage community with your CSA.
We are excited to share with you the UK government’s new Organic Action Plan and a focus on our work in Wales. We are pleased to introduce you to our new staff and board members as well as introducing one of our CSAs. And a couple of learning and training opportunities.
We would like to dedicate this newsletter to the inspirational Joanne Mudhar who founded Oak Tree Farm back in 2009. Joanne was a core part of the CSA movement in the UK and sadly passed away recently. She has left a vibrant community farm as a wonderful legacy.
Thank you for being part of this movement.
The CSA Network UK Team
