Govardhan Eco Farm
our aim is to establish an Eco Farm where we can run a CSA community-supported agriculture.
this means engaging local people in helping and learning about natural organic agriculture methods including composting organic waste, no dig low till food growing, seed saving, biodynamic farming. the farming is wildlife-friendly, bee-friendly and helps combat climate change by recycling waste and planting more trees. using low till methods means losing less carbon into the atmopshere and plants absorb co2.
The name Govardhan comes from sacred hill in India which means hill of cow dung. Cow dung is an amazing natural fertiliser and used in the special recipe for compost we make that can stop pests and diseases on the crops.
