Newquay Community Orchard

We are just starting out on our CSA adventure. We have a half acre no dig, plot dedicated to producing food for our one customer- Canteen at the Orchard. This is a pilot. Canteen are really committed to the CSA model as our we. We are just embarking on a four month trial using the CSA model, where buy Canteen purchase our market garden share, that enables us to purchase delicious meals for our volunteers from Canteen at the Orchard. Its a great circular model-food is grown by our fabulous volunteer-travels 300 m to the Canteen Kitchen, volunteers are provide with a daily lunch, and (non cooked) food waste goes back into our composting system.
