Orchard Acre Market Garden

Orchard Acre Market Garden provides fresh, seasonal and chemical-free veg boxes within a 10-mile radius of our garden via our CSA, from our small plot just outside of Abergavenny, South Wales.  This runs for 6 months of the year and as well as a weekly veg box, offers our CSA members opportunities to join us for events and work days in the garden.  Members can choose to collect their share of our harvest from the garden on a weekly basis or have it delivered.  We are growing to take on around 35 members for this, our second season.  We also supply mega nutritious mixed salad leaves through local retail outlets and food businesses.

Soil health and human health are so closely entwined and we grow our food hoping to maximise both.

For us, access to local, nutritious food for everyone is really important. For our first year, we supplied the Abergavenny Foodbank with fresh food each week, paid for by those of our members who could afford to pay more for their weekly veg box.  We will continue our solitary work this season.
