Head Grower at The Fold Community Farm
Date Published: 17th January 2025
The Fold Community Farm is a 4-acre market garden set on a 200-acre plant-based Soil Association certified organic farm near Malvern, Worcestershire. They produce vegetables, herbs, fruit and eggs, supplying 65 veg boxes per week for their CSA members.
They also provide vegetables for their Fold Café and their popular honesty shop. In addition to their field production, they have an area of no dig beds, two polytunnels and a glasshouse. They are keen on low till and no dig with use of green manures, composts and extracts. Their small team includes volunteers.
They’re looking for a self-starting Head Grower who can further develop their team and production systems, evolving their Community Farm into a thriving self-sustaining enterprise.
The role is full-time with base salary of £26,000 dependent upon experience and living arrangements. Accommodation is available onsite whether in the 17th-century farmhouse, their beautiful 1-bedroom straw bale house, or in your own caravan.
Nestled in Worcestershire’s beautiful Teme valley, the Fold CIC also an award-winning vegetarian café, artisan studios, a natural therapy centre, and nature trails.
